Recently, the earthquake in Turkey and flood problem in Central America were very serious. After getting in touch with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we were told that the government of Turkey declined the help from foreign countries for now. The four countries in Central America, El Salvator, Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala are flooding seriously. As in recent years, we have provided medical services in these countries.  We also received several phone calls from local friends looking for help.

 

Due to limited time, we could not visit them all. Therefore, we decided to go to El Salvator, Honduras and Nicaragua, which were comparatively serious. We wish everyone plays the spirit of Taiwan Root to participate this rescue mission.

 

1.      We expect to take off on 11/20 (evening flight) and come back on 12/4 (early flight)

2.      Please apply USA visa personally for transit purpose.

3.      Visa Requirements: passport, 2’ color photos X 6, 1 photocopy of ID card

4.      We will try to help if there’s a need for personal leave from government agencies.

5.      We welcome medical professionals and general volunteers to register as soon as possible.
